UPPAbaby Vista V2 Reviews
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 is the most popular stroller at Strolleria, with a five-star average rating based on reviews from hundreds of verified customers. Customers rave about the UPPAbaby Vista V2 for its maneuverability, ease of use, versatility and quality, with many comparing it to luxury cars like a Rolls-Royce or Cadillac.
The biggest complaints? Like all strollers that expand to a double, the 27-pound Vista is on the heavier side of the stroller spectrum, and it takes up space in your trunk.
And adapting the Vista for two kids is a common source of confusion, considering that adapters are required for most double configurations and the stroller's upper and lower seats are different in size and not interchangeable. See What Adapters Do I Need for the UPPAbaby Vista? for help with configurations.
Here are highlights from Strolleria's UPPAbaby Vista V2 customer reviews.

- "I expect to be using this for many many years to come, I couldn’t be more pleased." - Ivan Berossy
- "There are many strollers to select from but after testing so many of them the Vista's quality is unmatched. It is easy to fold, easy to open, the fabric is beautiful and the leather is a nice touch." - Brooklyn Lamasa
- "We absolutely love this stroller and wouldn’t change a thing about it!" - Andria
Maneuverability
- "We walk a ton, and there truly is no comparison to the other strollers I have had. It pushes so easy, and turns with one hand and little to no effort." - Kristen
- "The suspension on the stroller is great, my baby sleeps right through bumps in the road. Very smooth ride." - D.B.
- "This thing glides like butter. The smoothest ride you’ll ever get. The quality is top notch." - Jennifer Thieman
Ease of Use
- "Not only is it a beautiful product, but it was so stinking easy to put together! Everything just clicks on and I love the large basket and easy maneuverability it has." - Amie C.
- "Super easy and intuitive set up/break down-I didn’t even need to read the instruction manual." - Victoria Tilden
- "It is so easy to use and the ease of pushing the stroller is amazing. I know that the price is steep but in the end I feel like my child will enjoy the stroller just as much as I do." - Joanna Barbosa
- "All of the pieces fit seamlessly and we didn’t need a single instruction to put it together. I SUPER easy to switch pieces in and out and collapse." - Kendra
Versatility
- "This stroller is a god sent - not only does it feel safe and sturdy, its super easy to use, super flexible, has so many options, a year later i'm still discovering new tricks the stroller does! They've thought of every convenience, addition, holder, button, everything!" - Andrea
- "We loved the bassinet and used it for the first 6 month. I did not want the baby to sit in upright position on car and stroller seats. Bassinet came in handy when we were at home too or visiting a friend and family." - Parunika
- "It's so easy to use and i love that I can switch from the car seat to the bassinet so easily." - Victoria
- "If there is a stroller and car seat that are easier to use together, I can't imagine it! The car seat just clicks right onto the stroller and there's a button on the handle so you can take it off with one hand." - Julia L.
Storage Space
- The large basket holds so much stuff. I can use just the stroller for a quick grocery store or Costco run." - Lizzy Cupples
- "The storage space is much larger which I love, great for shopping or longer strolls when I might need to carry snacks and baby essentials." - Olivia
- "I was nervous about spending so much but its been so worth it. It is so smooth and easy to use. I love how easy it is to click the car seat in and out. And it holds ALL my stuff when I go shopping!" - Hilary
Â
Drawbacks
- "If you have stairs to climb, groups of people to go through, and public transport to take, and you only get one stroller, IMO it’s going to be too much unnecessary work to lug this stroller around for only one child in that environment." - Matt Champagne
- "The only thing that bothers me is the size when folded, it is just so bulky." - Maria Grisanti
- "I am about to have my second child in August and my oldest (who is almost 2) is already too heavy and almost too tall for the rumble seat! For those of you who did not know, the rumble seat has a different weight capacity and height limit than the toddler seat that comes with it." - Chelsey
- "Probably the most important detail to mention is, its INSANE that you have to purchase up to 3 different types of adapters if you want to use the stroller in basic double configurations." - Rob Ramirez
UPPAbaby Vista V2 ConfigurationsÂ
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 has more than a dozen configurations that allow the stroller to grow with your child and your family.
Start using the Vista V2 with the included bassinet until your baby is 4-6 months, then transition to the included Toddler Seat, which fits kids up to 50 pounds and can face you or face forward.
You can also attach an infant car seat: The UPPAbaby Mesa Series connects directly to the frame, while car seats from other top brands require the purchase of adapters.
As a double or twin stroller, the UPPAbaby Vista V2 can hold up to two stroller seats, two infant car seats or two bassinets.
Most UPPAbaby Vista V2 double configurations require the purchase of the RumbleSeat, the seat that attaches to the lower portion of the stroller, as well as upper and lower adapters that create space for two kids. (See the next section for more details).
To stroll with three kids, add the UPPAbaby Vista V2 Piggyback board to allow a standing toddler to ride behind the stroller.
Take a look at some of the most popular UPPAbaby Vista configurations below.
UPPAbaby Vista Double StrollerÂ
Growing families have multiple ways to use the UPPAbaby Vista as a double stroller.
Stroller seats can face you, forward or back-to-back. You can also add an infant car seat to either the upper or lower position or attach the bassinet to the lower position (but the bassinet won't fit on top with a seat on the bottom).
If you already own the Vista as a single stroller and are looking to expand it, you'll need to buy a few parts.
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 double stroller consists of two different seats: The Toddler Seat, which comes with purchase of the single stroller, only fits on the top position and holds a child up to 50 pounds.
The lower seat, sold separately, is called the RumbleSeat. Because it's smaller than the Toddler Seat, it fits only on the lower position and has a weight limit of 35 pounds. See UPPAbaby Vista Toddler Seat vs. RumbleSeat for more details on the two types of seats.
For most configurations, the purchase of upper adapters is required to create more space for two seats, and you'll also need a set of lower adapters if you're using a car seat or bassinet on the lower position.
If you're looking to buy an UPPAbaby Vista double stroller, Strolleria offers two packages intended for siblings of different ages:
- UPPAbaby Vista V2 double stroller with Toddler Seat, RumbleSeat and bassinet (adapters sold separately)
- UPPAbaby Vista V2 double stroller travel system with Toddler Seat, RumbleSeat, bassinet, Mesa series infant car seat, and upper and lower adapters
See the video below for a look at all UPPAbaby Vista V2 double stroller configurations, including:
- Toddler Seat in upper position, RumbleSeat in lower position (upper adapter recommended)
- Car seat in upper position, RumbleSeat in lower position (upper adapter required)
- Toddler Seat in upper position, car seat in lower position (upper and lower adapters required)
- Toddler Seat in upper position, bassinet in lower position (upper and lower adapters required)
UPPAbaby Vista Twin Stroller
The UPPAbaby Vista offers two configurations just for twins: You can start using the stroller with two infant car seats or two bassinets before transitioning to other double configurations as your babies grow.
For all twin configurations, you'll need both the upper and lower adapters in order to create space for both car seats or bassinets.
If you're using two UPPAbaby Mesa Series car seats, you don't need anything else. If you're using another brand's car seat, you'll need to attach those car seat adapters on top of the upper and lower adapters.
Strolleria offers these UPPAbaby Vista twin stroller packages:
- UPPAbaby Vista V2 twin stroller with Toddler Seat, RumbleSeat, two bassinets, and upper and lower adapters
- UPPAbaby Vista V2 twin travel system with Toddler Seat, RumbleSeat, two Mesa Series infant car seats, two bassinets, and upper and lower adapters
See the video below for a look at UPPAbaby Vista V2 twin stroller configurations.
UPPAbaby Vista Travel Systems
If you're looking to use the UPPAbaby Vista V2 with a car seat, you have several ways to create a convenient travel system.
UPPAbaby makes its own car seat, the UPPAbaby Mesa Series, which attaches directly to the stroller without adapters and can be removed with a one-handed press of a button on the handle.
Car seats from leading brands including v are also compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2 with the purchase of car seat adapters.
To create a custom UPPAbaby Vista travel system, see car seats compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista for a list of compatible models and adapters.
Strolleria offers these UPPAbaby Vista V2 travel systems:
- UPPAbaby Vista V2 travel system with Toddler Seat, Mesa infant car seat and bassinet
- UPPAbaby Vista V2 double stroller travel system with Toddler Seat, RumbleSeat, bassinet, Mesa series infant car seat, and upper and lower adapters
- UPPAbaby Vista V2 twin travel system with Toddler Seat, RumbleSeat, two Mesa series infant car seats, two bassinets, and upper and lower adapters
See the video below for a look at car seats that fit the UPPAbaby Vista V2.
UPPAbaby Vista Weight
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 weighs 27 pounds, which is average for a stroller with sturdy wheels, ample storage space and the ability to support two children.
If your stroller's weight is a top concern, UPPAbaby offers lighter strollers, including the Cruz V2 (25.5 pounds) and the Minu V2 (16.9 pounds). But neither stroller can be used with two seats—and you'll find that most single-to-double strollers are within range of the Vista's weight.
Compared with similar strollers, the Vista V2 is relatively easy to lift despite its weight. The stroller folds to a standing position that allows parents to lift it from its bumper bar without bending to the ground. Many parents find it helpful to lean the stroller against their thigh while lifting it into the car.
UPPAbaby Vista Weight Limit
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 has a weight limit of 50 pounds, allowing the stroller to grow with your child from birth through toddlerhood.
Most kids won't hit 50 pounds until they're in kindergarten—long after they're done using the stroller.
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 has one of the roomiest seats on the market, helping to support your child as he grows taller. In a unique feature, you can even slide the canopy higher on the frame to create more head space.
How to Fold UPPAbaby Vista
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 is easy to collapse, and most parents get the hang of folding the stroller after only a couple of tries.
To fold the UPPAbaby Vista, first apply the footbrake and raise the handlebar to its tallest setting.Â
Using both hands, pull the trigger levers toward you while lowering the handlebar toward the floor. The stroller automatically locks in a standing position that makes it easier to pick up.
Watch how to fold the UPPAbaby Vista in the video below.
UPPAbaby Vista Bassinet
The UPPAbaby Vista bassinet, included with every purchase of the stroller, creates a cozy and comfortable setting for your newborn's first strolls.
Because the manufacturer packages the stroller and bassinet in the same box, it's not possible to buy the Vista without the bassinet.
The UPPAbaby Vista bassinet attaches to the stroller frame for naps on-the-go. but it also serves multiple functions inside, too. You can set the hard-bottomed bassinet on the floor or elevate it using the UPPAbaby bassinet stand (which converts to a laundry hamper later on).
Many parents use the UPPAbaby Vista bassinet as baby's first bedside crib, rather than buying a second bassinet they'll use only for a matter of months. The bassinet is also handy for travel: It collapses flat and is easy to store, whether you're using it as a space-saving crib in a hotel or simply a place for baby to nap at a friend's house.
The UPPAbaby Vista bassinet is approved for overnight sleeping, allowing your baby to lie flat in the safest position for newborns. The bassinet can be used in the first 3-6 months, until your baby reaches 20 pounds or starts pushing up on hands and knees (whichever milestone comes first.)
You can also use the UPPAbaby Vista bassinet on other UPPAbaby strollers: the single Cruz V2 stroller, the compact Minu V2 stroller or the Ridge jogging stroller.
Â
UPPAbaby Vista Adapters
You'll need UPPAbaby Vista adapters in two scenarios: if you're using another brand's car seat on the stroller or if you're using the Vista in double or twin configurations.
Car seat adapters are available for Chicco, Clek, Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, Nuna and Peg Perego (no adapters are required if you're using the UPPAbaby Mesa Series car seat).
Most double configurations and all twin configurations also require the purchase of upper adapters that raise the top seat higher, along with lower adapters if you're attaching an infant car seat or bassinet to the lower position.
See What Adapters Do I Need for the UPPAbaby Vista? to learn which adapters are required for each configuration and compatible car seat.
UPPAbaby Vista Accessories
Several accessories are included with purchase of the UPPAbaby Vista V2, including the bassinet with storage bag, a bumper bar, a rain cover and bug covers for both the stroller seat and bassinet.
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 also has many accessories sold separately, allowing you to customize the stroller to your family's needs and the season.
The most popular UPPAbaby Vista accessories include a cup holder for your water bottle or morning coffee, the carry-all bag to hold your keys and phone, and the snack tray that keeps Cheerios within reach.

UPPAbaby Vista Travel Bag
UPPAbaby offers a unique travel bag and insurance program for the Vista V2, along with its other strollers and car seats.
Through its TravelSafe program, UPPAbaby covers damages caused to your products during air travel when you purchase through an authorized retailer like Strolleria and register the stroller and travel bag with UPPAbaby.
The TravelSafe program covers your gear for four years: two years under the original product warranty and two years for damage caused in the travel bag.
The Vista V2 is too large to be considered a carry-on item, but most airlines allow the stroller to be gate-checked at no cost. Check with your airline for their stroller policy.
UPPAbaby Vista Colors
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 offers more color choices than many strollers. UPPAbaby typically refreshes some options each year—and for all strollers and car seats, the company names colors after the children of its employees.
Each color has a corresponding frame color (black or aluminum), as well as an included leather handlebar and bumper bar in saddle brown, chestnut brown or black. Handlebar and bumper bar covers can also be purchased separately to customize your look.

UPPAbaby Vista vs. Cruz
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 and UPPAbaby Cruz V2Â strollers share a number of similarities: They look almost identical, with most of the same features, and they're equally easy to use and fold.
The biggest difference is that the Cruz is a single stroller, while only the Vista can expand into a double. For an older toddler, you can attach the UPPAbaby Piggyback ride-along board to either stroller, but only the Vista can hold two seats.
Additionally, the Vista is slightly heavier than the Cruz because of its larger wheels and basket, and it comes with the bassinet (a $200 value) that's available separately for the Cruz.
Learn more about the differences in this UPPAbaby Vista vs. Cruz comparison, or compare the two strollers in the video below.
