The Nuna RELX base is compatible with all Nuna PIPA series infant car seats.

Any Nuna model with an "R" in the name—the PIPA RX, PIPA Lite R and PIPA Lite RX—come with the RELX base included. But the RELX base can also be purchased separately and used with Nuna's other car seat models: the PIPA, PIPA Lite and PIPA Lite LX.

Nuna offers two styles of infant car seat bases: the PIPA base, included in the box with purchase of the PIPA, PIPA Lite, and PIPA Lite LX, and the RELX base, included in the box with purchase of the PIPA RX, PIPA Lite R and PIPA Lite RX.

Either Nuna base can be used with any Nuna infant car seat. Both bases are also sold separately, allowing you to use your infant car seat in multiple vehicles.

ABOUT THE NUNA RELX BASE

Enjoy greater adjustability with the new Nuna RELX car seat base (pronounced like "relax"), designed to address common installation concerns with the PIPA base by allowing a more custom fit car seat for both your baby and your vehicle.

The RELX base boasts four recline positions with a level-free install thanks to the recline button, eliminating the need to check a bubble indicator to ensure the car seat is level.

Like the PIPA base, the RELX includes a steel load leg, a leading safety feature that minimizes forward rotation by as much as 90%. It has 17 possible adjustments built into three sections, making the RELX an ideal choice for some center seats with a center seat hump. Steel-reinforced rigid LATCH connectors offer four positions to help create a tighter fit with your vehicle seat and aid installation in a wider variety of cars, and the belt lockoff has been updated for easier seat belt installation when LATCH is not available.
