ABOUT THE RELX SERIES

The Nuna PIPA RX and PIPA Lite R both come with the new RELX base - pronounced like "relax." The RELX base helps customize installation in your vehicle thanks to a three-part steel load leg, steel-reinforced rigid LATCH connections with four settings, an anti-rebound panel to fit snugly against the seat back, and an adjustable recline to improve your infant's comfort in the seat as they grow.

Like the Nuna PIPA, the PIPA RX can be installed without the base if needed, helpful for the frequent traveler and taxi rides. The PIPA RX has a sky drape canopy extension, peekaboo window, flame-repellant free fabrics, and small pockets to store the harness buckle on each side of the car seat. It is currently available in three colors: Granite grey, Caviar black, and Birch, all with a brown leatherette grip.

The Nuna PIPA Lite R built upon the PIPA Lite model with organic jersey micro-knit fabrics, and like the PIPA Lite was free of flame repellent chemicals, and was one of the lightest infant car seats on the market at 5.3 pounds. It included the RELX base with purchase and would always need a base for installation. The PIPA Lite R was discontinued in 2022 to simplify the infant car seat line, and no longer available for purchase with retailers.
