I have the UppaBaby Vista and got so sick of lugging it in and out of the car when our second baby was born. I wanted something that did not take up my entire trunk, that was easy to lift in and out, and that was substantial enough to feel sturdy on long walks. This stroller is a tremendous value. I walk my toddler 2 miles to school on bumpy sidewalks, and it handles really well. It is compatible with our Nuna car seat, so when I'm running errands with the baby, I can pop in the adapters and head out. One hassle about the car seat adapters is that you have to remove the sunshade to get them in, but it's not a huge deal.
I was hesitant to buy this at first because the specs show it's not the lightest weight stroller out there, but it is has turned out to be plenty light and small enough for me. I can easily manage getting it in and out of a high trunk, and it has great suspension to absorb rough terrain. It truly a one handed fold, and does not take up our entire entryway when folded.
It is well designed and looks sporty. Driving this through a store after having the Vista is like switching from a suburban to a subaru. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend this model to anyone looking for the best of all worlds.
We have had MANY strollers. I kind of hoard them and then give them away or re-sell. This one is a keeper!!
We have used:
Nuna TARVO- loved the fold up and travel system but my son cried 4/5 times he sat in it (outward facing and spacey)
Thule Glide (1st gen)- stiff/ doesnt turn well.
GB Pockit- great for traveling but the wheels are small and get stuck sometimes, well paved roads needed. The hood broke the third time we used it so that was a bummer- also our son tipped it over twice while strapped in (attempting to grab something) so its very light.
Uppababy vista v2: great but bulky (esp if you are using 2 chairs at once)
Thule spring: can be used for infants with attachments and its sturdy enough to not tip, did AMAZING in NYC, we took it through time square and the subways. Easy one hand fold up, big storage space under, full lay back for naps and an amazing hood that block and ventilates (per season). Amazing material, easy to clean, and you can stroll or run with it with ease. Easy 3 point or 5 point buckle system, piggy back boards accessories/snack tray/ cupholder can all be purchased-THULE is my new favorite stroller brand.
I cant say enough great things about it- oh and its affordable! THANK YOU THULE
We have the Doona as a car seat and needed a better stroller for neighborhood walks to the park and out and about! We are obsessed with this stroller, it is amazing!!
It’s a great stroller! My son is 4 and 9months and very tall so still the stroller isn’t long enough for him :(
