Use the Nuna DEMI GROW stroller with the Nuna PIPA, PIPA RX, PIPA Lite, PIPA Lite R, or the PIPA Lite LX, using the included ring car seat adapter that allows you to attach and detach the car seat with one hand.
The DEMI GROW is a convertible stroller that accommodates a second seat when your family grows. Unlike other convertible strollers with a smaller second seat, the seats on the DEMI GROW are identical, with each accommodating up to 50 pounds.
New for 2020, Nuna introduced the PIPA RX and the PIPA Lite R models to join the PIPA car seat family. These newest models come with the updated RELX base, now giving you a more custom fit to your vehicle for the comfort of your baby.
You can read about the comparisons between the five PIPA models in our blog post, or watch our video review below.
Easily connect the included Nuna ring-shaped adapter onto the Demi Grow stroller frame by first removing the stroller seat, and then clicking the adapter into place. The Demi Grow can be folded with the ring adapter still attached for ease of use.
Set the PIPA car seat overtop the ring adapter and place down until you hear it click into place! You'll attach the back of the PIPA onto the side of the adapter that curves upward—the center tab on the opposite side of the ring will then latch into the front of the car seat.
While it is typical to have the car seat parent-facing, you can opt to have the car seat facing the world by switching the adapter around. Your car seat is safely attached after you hear the click and you can't lift it off the stroller frame.
The Demi Grow also includes a set of post adapters you can use with a second PIPA Series car seat, as you would with twins. With the post adapters, the PIPA easily clicks on top by inserting the adapters into each side of the car seat's handle. To detach the car seat, look for the side impact protection (SIP) stickers to locate the release buttons—use both hands to press and lift the car seat off.
