The Bugaboo Fox and Fox2 strollers are compatible with all Nuna PIPA infant car seat models with the use of a car seat adapter.

There are now five Nuna PIPA car seat models to choose from, the PIPA, PIPA RX, the PIPA Lite, PIPA Lite R, and PIPA Lite LX. New for 2020, Nuna introduced the PIPA RX and the PIPA Lite R, which both feature the new RELX basegiving you a more custom fit to your vehicle for the comfort of your baby.

Check out our comparisons between the five PIPA models in this blog post, or watch our video review below.

Bugaboo's own infant car seat, the Turtle, is made by Nuna but differs from the Nuna PIPA Series of car seats. Please note that the Bugaboo Turtle by Nuna Infant Car Seat is only compatible with the Bugaboo Fox and Lynx strollers. An adapter is not required to attach the Turtle to the Fox or Fox2 strollers.

How to use the Nuna PIPA on the Bugaboo Fox

Transport your baby in the PIPA with the Bugaboo Fox stroller by attaching the car seat to the Bugaboo Car Seat Adapters, purchased separately.

Using the Bugaboo Car Seat Adapters for the Fox, the PIPA easily clicks on top by inserting the post adapters into each side of the car seat's handle. To detach the car seat, look for the side impact protection (SIP) stickers to locate the release buttons—use both hands to press and lift the car seat off.
