You won't see any changes to the UPPAbaby MESA from 2019 to 2020.
UPPAbaby is keeping the same great features and fashions seen in the 2019 MESA: Henry Blue Marl, Jordan Charcoal, Bryce White and Grey Marl, and Jake Black. It is common for car seats to only see updates every few years, which ensures continuity of design and safety features.
Any model year of the UPPAbaby MESA will continue to fit UPPAbaby strollers such as the VISTA, CRUZ and MINU, including the 2020 stroller models.
Here are a few frequently asked questions about the differences between the 2019 UPPAbaby MESA and the 2020 UPPAbaby MESA.
UPPAbaby is continuing all four fashions of the MESA from 2019 into 2020:
Added in 2019, Bryce White Marl features an off-white canopy with a light, heather gray interior. Bryce White Marl complements the 2019 VISTA, 2020 VISTA V2, and 2020 CRUZ V2 strollers by the same name, and the Devin Grey Melange color of the MINU stroller.
Prices for the UPPAbaby MESA are staying the same from 2019 to 2020. It is available in two fabric materials and two price points: $299.99 for polyester fabrics, and $349.99 for merino wool blend fabrics.
Merino wool is a natural fiber that is hypoallergenic, free of flame retardant chemicals, and helps your baby regulate their body temperature, staying cooler in summer months and warmer in the winter.
Because UPPAbaby has never changed the functionality of the MESA, all model years of the car seat are compatible with all model years of the VISTA, CRUZ and MINU strollers.
No adapters are needed to attach the MESA to the CRUZ or to the VISTA from 2015-later. If you have an UPPAbaby VISTA from 2014-earlier, you'll need an adapter that you can obtain from UPPAbaby's website as a spare part.
Any model year of the UPPAbaby MESA car seat is compatible with the UPPAbaby VISTA V2 for 2020.
