In 2020, the UPPAbaby VISTA received a name change and a makeover that added even more convenience, quality and style to this best-selling stroller.
The UPPAbaby VISTA V2 offers new colors, improved maneuverability, a roomier Toddler Seat to accommodate taller kids, a redesigned canopy for added ventilation and sun protection, and a no-rethread harness for hassle-free adjustments.
The VISTA V2 is continuing into 2021 with no functional differences, although UPPAbaby is making some color changes. See this 2021 UPPAbaby VISTA V2 vs. 2020 UPPAbaby VISTA V2 comparison for more details.
Let's take a look at the differences between the UPPAbaby VISTA V2— in stock at Strolleria for immediate shipping—and the previous UPPAbaby VISTA.
Watch our video for a look at the differences between the 2020 and 2019 UPPAbaby VISTA, including changes to the canopy, colors, seat, wheels and more.
The starting price of the 2020 UPPAbaby VISTA V2 has increased by $30, from $899.99 to $929.99. Many colors cost $969.99 because of their more premium and texturized fabrics.
Stroll in style with four new colors of the 2020 VISTA V2. The Finn Deep Sea and Hazel Olive Green colors feature colorblocking on the Toddler Seat and bassinet for a unique look.

The UPPAbaby VISTA is an even smoother ride in 2020, thanks to new wheels and upgraded suspension.
The wheels on the UPPAbaby VISTA V2 are softer to absorb more bumps in the road, and the frame has been redesigned with a spring-action suspension system. When you push down on the VISTA V2, you'll notice how the frame gives to the pressure and bounces back—absorbing shock from the ride so that your child won't feel it.
The 2020 model also adds a new feature to the VISTA's front wheels: green indicators that provide a visual signal when the wheels are locked and unlocked.
Your growing toddler will have more room in the Toddler Seat of the 2020 UPPAbaby VISTA V2, which features a higher seat back and deeper footrest.
The weight capacity of the Toddler Seat remains 50 pounds. The lower RumbleSeat is not changing in size for 2020, and its weight capacity is 35 pounds.
On the left of the photo below, compare the seat of the 2020 VISTA V2 with the 2019 stroller (pictured in Jake Black).
See the Toddler Seat measurements for the VISTA and VISTA V2 below.
The canopy of the 2020 VISTA V2 offers more protection and ventilation on your sunny strolls.
For both the Toddler Seat and RumbleSeat, the 2020 canopy has been redesigned so that additional fabric zips out to create an extension and open a mesh peek-a-boo window.
The new canopy gives the stroller a more sophisticated look while providing complete sun coverage for your child. A second flap in the front of the canopy can be opened for additional ventilation.
Instead of the fabric extension, the 2019 VISTA includes a shiny silver sunshade that can be pulled out of the canopy for additional coverage.
And instead of two ventilation panels, the 2019 stroller has a single, ventilated window, with a fabric flap that must be rolled up and secured when the window is in use.
In the photo below, see the 2019 canopy on the left and 2020 canopy on the right.
Additionally, most colors of the 2019 VISTA display the UPPAbaby logo in large lettering on the side of the canopy. On the VISTA V2, you'll find the logo on a small leather tab on the canopy for a more understated look.
No rethread, no hassle: On the 2020 UPPAbaby VISTA V2, simply slide the harness up and down to adjust its height for your quickly-growing child.
The 2019 VISTA harness requires more time and effort for adjustments, as you'll need to detach and rethread the harness through its slots.
The 2020 UPPAbaby VISTA V2 and 2019 UPPAbaby VISTA have the same weight and dimensions. Here are the measurements for both stroller models.
The 2020 UPPAbaby VISTA V2 and the 2019 UPPAbaby VISTA are compatible with the same infant car seats and car seat adapters.
For both models, no adapters are required when using the UPPAbaby MESA on the single VISTA, while adapters are needed when attaching any other car seat brand, as well as when using the VISTA as a double. The UPPAbaby MESA is not changing for 2020.
Both the 2020 and 2019 VISTA are compatible with these car seats:

For 2020, the VISTA V2 still has one of the roomiest storage baskets of any stroller, with a couple of changes.
The basket now has a more sleek design that no longer uses the snaps seen on the 2019 stroller. It also includes a storage pocket for keeping accessories like your rain shield or car seat adapters easily accessible.
The frame of the UPPAbaby VISTA hasn't changed since 2015, so car seats, stroller components, RumbleSeats, and accessories from 2015-2020 are compatible.
The 2020 UPPAbaby VISTA RumbleSeat V2 will fit on older frames from 2015-2019 but has a few different features, like the redesigned canopy and no-rethread harness.
The seats will look similar, unless you have a stroller in a color that's been discontinued for 2020: Henry Blue Marl, William Chambray Oxford or Spenser Tartan Plaid.
UPPAbaby is not selling the new 2020 Toddler Seat V2 for use on older frames.
