Detailed Winter Cover Review

It’s such an expensive accessory so I figured I would answer some questions that made me hesitant to buy. 1-17mo sonW4 Luxe Does it keep him warm?I live in Colorado at 9700ft. It gets cold. I’ve taken him on a walk at the base of the mountain when skiing in 20 degree weather while they were blowing snow so there is a lot more moisture in the air and it kept him comfortable. I’ve taken him on out in non windy 0 degree weather and it kept him comfortable. Just his uncovered finger tips were slightly cold but I’m sure if he had gloves he would have been fine. He wears fleece pajamas with a down bunting suit for reference. Put on?Very easy in my opinion. Just slide it over the poles and attach the Velcro. Putting on the windows is not hard just cumbersome. I start with the front and work my way to the back to make sure everything lines up perfectly. Take off/put away?Again very easy to take off. I would remove the windows first. I lay the cover on the floor and match everything up to fold it up. I can’t get it perfect but thankfully the bag they give is big enough. Worth it?I think so. It kept him warm enough but not as warm as I have seen other people comment. My son still had to be bundled when I’ve seen other people say they had to take their coats off. Maybe because I only have one kid’s body heat trying to heat up the whole wagon? I’m not sure. This will definitely work better than the flex canopy as I have that too. I’ve seen the new all weather cover and I would not get that over this for winter weather. While it’s easy to put on and take off I wish there was an easier way to fold it up without taking the windows off. While I’ve done it I feel like it bends the windows a bit. Maybe I need to spend more time trying it out but I don’t want to risk breaking the windows as they don’t seem heavy duty. (Heavy duty enough for proper use but not for folding every which way) The cover takes up a lot of room folded. I have a mini van and one kid so I have room but be aware of that. I love how the windows aren’t permanent and you can fold them down. You can even remove the partition between the two windows and make the entire side open. This really helps with getting them in. The access window in the back is great for handing my son things. I wish the windows zippered all the way around as if you don’t line up the Velcro perfectly then you’re allowing cold air to get in. The Velcro does hold up well though. You can zipper the entire front panel so your kiddos can use the front access door to get in and out. With the front panel I wish they put in a slit so the pull handle can go on the outside of the wagon. Right now I have the cover over it and it fits fine. Just the front window bulges out a bit. I wish it was on the outside as I was pushing through snow and it got a little difficult. I wanted to use my pull handle but realized I would have to open the front panel and allow all the cold air in to just get to it. Which is fine if I was really stuck but it was just easier to turn the wagon around and pull backwards. Having a little slit where the buckle for the pull handle can fit through would be such an easy fix. All in all I’m really happy with it. Probably my favorite accessory I’ve gotten from Wonderfold.
