The Clek Liing base includes leading safety features such as a load leg, a metal bar that extends from the base of the car seat to the floor of your car to prevent the seat from rotating or rebounding in a crash. Studies show the load leg reduces the risk of head injury by more than 40 percent.
In a unique feature, the base of the Liing is adjustable to seven recilne positions, allowing the car seat to be safely installed even when your vehicle seats are angled or flat.

Easy to install the base with LATCH and easy to level. Relatively good stability. The load leg is only good for outboard installation in our sedan. Too long to fit in middle seat if there is a tunnel hump.

Super glad we got a second base for our Liing! While yes you can use the European belt path method to put it into a car without the base (admittedly have not even tried doing that yet, almost 1 year later), it's just so convenient. It's very secure with the load leg and easy to lock the Liing into. It's also easy to adjust the angle of the seat as the baby grows.
