Can Nuna RAVA be used for a newborn

The Nuna RAVA convertible car seat can support a newborn from as small as 5 pounds when using the included infant head and body inserts.

Use the included infant support insert when your newborn weighs between 5 pounds and 11 pounds. The head insert can be used or removed at any stage for improved comfort.

When the RAVA is installed rear-facing, choose from five recline settings so your little one has the most ideal support from birth. Your child can continue to sit rear-facing until they are 49" tall or 50 pounds. The RAVA can be used forward-facing until 49" or 65 pounds.

Can I attach the Nuna RAVA to a stroller?

Because the RAVA is a convertible car seat designed to grow with your child for many years, it is too large and heavy to be placed on a stroller frame (as is the case with all convertible car seats). Only an infant car seat can be attached to a stroller.

Nuna's infant car seat is called the PIPA, and there are three versions in the PIPA series: the PIPA, PIPA Lite and PIPA Lite LX. Here is a blog post comparing the three Nuna PIPA models, which are compatible with all Nuna strollers, and many other brands with purchase of an adapter.
