For a lightweight travel system, pair your TRIV stroller with one of Nuna's PIPA Lite models: the PIPA Lite, PIPA Lite R, or PIPA Lite LX. Because they’re made with a different type of foam, the three Lite car seats are 2.5 pounds lighter than other car seats on the market, including the Nuna PIPA and PIPA RX.

How to use the Nuna PIPA on the TRIV

Quickly attach a Nuna infant car seat using the included ring adapter, Nuna's innovative accessory that allows you to easily connect and remove the car seat with one hand. In a feature unique to the TRIV, the ring adapter even folds in half like the stroller does.

To secure the PIPA onto the ring adapter, simply set it overtop the adapter so it can click into place! You'll attach the back of the PIPA onto the side of the adapter that curves upward—the center tab on the opposite side will then lock into the front of the car seat. Your car seat is safely attached after you hear the click and you can't lift it off the stroller frame.
