Despite its weight, the PIPA Lite doesn't skimp on safety. Unlike most car seats made with non-flexible foam, the PIPA Lite is made with a first-of-its-kind flexible foam that compresses to absorb forces in a crash.
Like the PIPA, the PIPA Lite snaps into a steel-reinforced base with a load leg that attaches to the floor of your vehicle for extra stability. According to Nuna, the load leg helps minimize forward rotation during a crash by up to 90 percent.
The PIPA Lite includes fire-resistant fabrics free of flame retardant chemicals, a memory foam headrest, and a leather-look handle. Unlike the PIPA Lite LX, it does not include the Dream Drape magnetic cover and, unlike the PIPA, it cannot be installed without the base for taxis or travel. The PIPA Lite meets the standards for Greenguard Gold certification, which means it has been thoroughly tested and certified to not contribute VOC's, or hazardous chemicals, into the air your child breathes.

Strolleria accepts returns of new, unused items that are returned to us within 60 days of receipt.
Because safety is a top priority for us and all new parents, Strolleria only accepts returns of items that have never been used. Items must be returned in the same condition in which you received them, including the original packaging.
All products sold by Strolleria are covered under a manufacturer's warranty. If the product is defective or becomes damaged during the warranty period, the manufacturer will send a repair or replacement part at no cost.

This is a nice light weight car seat. The only negatives I can think of is that it's tedious to adjust the straps. Also the canopy is a little flimsy. I love the color, weight, and anesthetic of this product.
I love the fact the car seat is so light weight, only thing i don’t like is the fact that you need a base and can’t just use a seat belt like other seats. I use a base in my cars but if there is an emergency and someone else needs to pick your child they would need to get a base out of one of my vehicles to pick them up.
We are still awaiting the arrival of our little one. But this car seat is just what we expected! Very light weight, easy to manipulate, material used is very soft, and it has a chic look! Excited to use it once our little one arrives.
Absolutely in love with this car seat! It’s masculine enough that hubs likes it but still feminine enough for our little girl. I knew it was the “lightest on the market” but was still surprised when I opened it. I went back and forth on if we really needed an “expensive” car seat since they all go through the same safety checks but I’m very happy we did! Strolleria delivered within just a few days which was also fantastic!
We LOVE our Nuna Pipa Lite! Before ordering I was going between the Lite model and the regular model because I wasn’t sure if the extra $50 was worth it for the Lite model, and I also found that the regular model not necessarily needing the base to be functional an attractive option. HOWEVER now that I have the Lite I wouldn’t go with any other model or brand. It is SO lightweight and every single pound counts when hauling around a baby and all your gear! Also, the base is easy to install, easy to use, and if we ever end up needing another base for our second car I’m fully willing to just make that investment. On a superficial note I absolutely adore the simplicity and class of this style. My husband’s exact words upon seeing the Nuna Pipa Lite for the first time in person were “That car seat is class as h3ll!” Lol! But seriously, it is. As a mama who favors a timeless look, this was definitely the car seat for us. Between the looks, the portability, and the high safety rating this car seat is worth EVERY PENNY. would definitely buy again
