Both the UPPAbaby Ridge and Bumbleride Speed feature a three wheel design built to tackle rough terrain. From beach walks to hiking trails, snowy side walks and daily strolls, the Ridge and Speed allow families to take baby along for every adventure!

The UPPAbaby Ridge features foam filled tires, covered in a rubberized tread. Made by Kenda, a manufacturer of car tires, the rubber wheels on the Ridge are filled with EVA foam that provides durability and shock absorption without the need for inflation. These "Never Flat Tires" skip the maintenance typically required with a running stroller- no air pump needed! The Ridge boasts large 16" back wheels and a 12" swivel-locking front wheel, with advanced responsive suspension. 

The Bumbleride Speed also features large 16" rear wheels and a 12" front wheel, however, the Speed has air filled tires with rubberized tread and all wheel suspension. Air-filled tires are known in the industry for giving the smoothest ride and offering great shock absorption. The innovative Speed3 Steering system offers three modes for the front tire: 360-degree swivel, partial swivel, and locked, adapting to various environments with ease.

Can the UPPAbaby Ridge and Bumbleride Speed be used from birth? 

The UPPAbaby Ridge seat can be used from 3 months to 55lbs. Out of the box, the Ridge is not suitable for use from birth. However, you can use a compatible car seat for use as a travel system, and it can also be paired with the UPPAbaby bassinet! The UPPAbaby bassinet is the safest and most comfortable ride for a newborn as it keeps them flat on their back. Plus the UPPAbaby bassinet is approved for overnight use by your bedside or when on vacation! Adapters are required and sold separately for infant car seat pairings and for use with the UPPAbaby bassinet.

Like the Ridge, the Bumbleride Speed can be used from about 3 months to 55 pounds. The Bumbleride Speed is newborn ready with the use of compatible car seat or bassinet. The bassinet provides a lie-flat bed for infants using 100% recycled polyester fabric, a vented base board and breathable mattress. You no longer need to add "Hot Shoes" when using the bassinet or car seat adapter - now these are preinstalled for you, for an easy click in!

The UPPAbaby Ridge comes with a water bottle holder and basket cover. The Bumbleride Speed comes with an air pump and wrist strap.

Both UPPAbaby and Bumbleride offer a variety of accessories sold separately, allowing parents to expand on the functionality of each stroller. One important distinction: The Ridge offers a ride-along board for an older sibling, and the Speed does not. This is something to consider if you are using your stroller for everyday too and have an older sibling that often wants to rest their legs. Note that the board cannot be used when jogging or running.

How do I clean the UPPAbaby Ridge and Bumbleride Speed? 

The UPPAbaby Ridge fabrics are washable. It is recommended to spot clean or hand wash with cold water and mild detergent. 

The Bumbleride Speed fabrics are removable and machine washable on a gentle cycle.
