The Indie features, air filled tires with rubberized tread and all wheel suspension. Its back wheels are a bit smaller than the Ridge, all three wheels are 12".

The UPPAbaby Ridge seat can be used from 3 months to 55lbs. Out of the box, the Ridge is not suitable for use from birth. However, UPPAbaby has parents covered with accessories. The Ridge is infant car seat compatible for use as a travel system. It can also be paired with the UPPAbaby bassinet for the most comfortable ride for newborns. The Bumbleride Indie is newborn ready straight out of the box. It offers a fully flat recline suitable for use from birth to 55lbs. The seat itself can be manipulated to create a bassinet-like environment, no additional accessories are needed! However, if a true bassinet is preferred, Bumbleride does offer one sold separately. The UPPAbaby Ridge fabrics are washable. It is recommended to spot clean or hand wash with cold water and mild detergent. 

The Bumbleride Indie fabrics are removable and machine washable on a gentle cycle.
