The Minu V3 (pronounced "min-YOU") is significantly lighter than UPPAbaby's full-sized strollers, and unlike its umbrella strollers, it can be used from birth in carriage mode or with a car seat with adapters. Plus it folds with one hand, and can fit in overhead bins when traveling!

Stokke YOYO3

The Stokke YOYO3 was born in France originally where its sturdy frame and all-wheel suspension can tackle anything from grassy parks to cobblestone streets.

The YOYO3 folds in a flash and can be carried by an integrated shoulder strap, then stored in its included carry bag.

Use the same frame to attach the 0+ Newborn Pack for a soft bassinet that folds with the stroller or the 6+ Color Pack, which includes the seat fabric to be used when your baby is sitting upright.

The seats of the UPPAbaby Minu V3 and Stokke YOYO3 are very different, as the Minu V3 actually features a fully lie-flat seat and carriage mode for a newborn. The YOYO3 does not fully recline to a flat position. For that reason, the Minu V3 is the winner if you plan to use with a newborn. The YOYO3 cannot be used until your baby gains neck control and can sit more upright. Stokke advises waiting until 6 months old. Of course you can use a car seat or bassinet.

How to Fold UPPAbaby Minu

You only need one hand to fold the Minu V3. Using your thumb on one side of the handlebar button and fingers on the other, press in and down until the stroller collapses and auto-locks.

To unfold the Minu V3, simply undo the lock on the side of the stroller and pull up until it springs back into place.

How to Fold Stokke YOYO3

Folding the Stokke YOYO3 requires two steps. First, press the white buttons near the top of the frame to collapse the canopy and handlebar. This step requires two hands but can be done while the child is still sitting in the stroller.

Next, reach underneath the stroller to find a red tab and black button. Press the button while pulling the tab, then grab onto the nearby metal bar to allow the stroller to collapse instantly. 

To unfold the stroller, undo the lock near the front wheels and spring the YOYO3 back into place.

With the 0+ Newborn Pack attached, the YOYO3 folds in the same fashion, with no need to secure the fabric.
