So, whether you're a fashion-forward parent or simply seeking an efficient and reliable ride for your little one, let’s explore these two strollers more!
The Cybex Priam4 is equal parts functional and fashionable, thanks to its superior maneuverability and a luxe look that's ready for the runway.
Originally inspired by the modern design of Charles and Ray Eames, the Priam now takes fashion cues from the likes of designer Jeremy Scott, supermodel Karolina Kurkova and even musician-turned-stroller aficionado DJ Khaled (and it counts plenty of celebrities among its users, too).
New in 2022, the Priam4 offers similar style and functionality with new features—like a redesigned seat with a unique one-pull harness system—that make the stroller easier to use.
The Bugaboo Fox5 stroller is a clever and agile stroller like its namesake - it’s designed with both style and sturdiness in mind. The Fox5 is one of the lightest full-size strollers available, crafted from high-quality materials and equipped with suspension in its all-terrain wheels and frame.
The Fox5 introduces new features for enhanced usability, including an easy one-handed fold, a simplified recline, and adjustable canopy and footrest, adapting to your child's growth. Its advanced suspension system and large wheels ensure smooth navigation on any surface. The reversible seat and adjustable handlebar offer versatile positioning options.
This stroller also prioritizes practicality, featuring a spacious under-seat basket for storage and a convenient one-handed fold for easy transport and storage. Moreover, it boasts an extendable canopy with a peek-a-boo window, providing excellent ventilation and sun protection for your child.

Cybex Priam4 vs. Bugaboo Fox5 Configurations
The seats on the Cybex Priam4 and Bugaboo Fox5 are removable and reversible, allowing your child to face you when she's younger and face forward to explore the world as she grows. Both strollers can also be used with an infant car seat and bassinet (see next sections for more details).
Both strollers can also accommodate an older child on a ride-along-board attachment! The Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board allows the child to sit or stand, while the Cybex Kid Board is just a standing board.
Cybex Priam4 vs. Bugaboo Fox5 Bassinet
Both strollers offer a safe, flat place for baby to sleep while strolling, however, only the Bugaboo Fox5 comes with a bassinet included with your purchase. The Fox5 comes with bassinet fabric that attaches on the seat frame, and can be used until your baby is ready for the regular stroller seat - typically around 6 months. Once your baby is ready, you simply take off the bassinet fabric and put on the seat fabric. This is great for families with smaller storage room, as you are never having to store a big bassinet, just the fabric and mattress. However, it is a drawback to those that see themselves going back and forth a bit during the transition from bassinet to stroller seat or for those that still want to use the bassinet in their home.
The Priam4 Carry Cot is sold separately, and is a standalone bassinet. Both bassinets have a hard bottom that allow them to be placed anywhere, making them convenient to bring along for a restaurant nap or an overnight at a hotel.
Both the Priam4 and Fox5 bassinets are well-ventilated with mesh panels, which allow for more air flow than the hot, protective foam of a car seat, and keep baby completely shaded from the sun.
Bugaboo also offers a bassinet stand for use in your home. The stand can also be used with the stroller seat as a portable high chair!
Both bassinets can be used until approximately 6 months, depending mostly on the height of the baby. They are both 34.4” long, which is very generous for a bassinet! The Priam4 bassinet is a bit wider than the Fox5.
- Priam4: 23.6”H x 18.9”W x 34.4”L
- Fox5: 24.6”H x 16.5”W x 34.4”L
Bassinet Height and Weight Limit
- Priam4: 20 pounds
- Fox5: 20 pounds
Cybex Priam4 vs. Bugaboo Fox5 Fold
Both the Cybex Priam4 and Bugaboo Fox5 strollers are easy to fold, and stand when folded —offering convenience for both storage and for lifting the stroller into the car. Plus, the fabrics don't touch the ground when either model is folded, preventing the stroller from getting dirty.
The Bugaboo Fox5 fold is new and improved, and much more intuitive than the previous model Fox3. It’s a one-handed fold, with an automatic self-standing position.
