Now, Cybex has a new addition to the “Cloud" line - the Cloud G and Cloud G Lux. The Cloud G has the same ability to recline when in a stroller, but also adds more safety features such as a more padded interior, a new one-click rigid latch install, an anti-rebound panel on the base, updated side impact protection, and a load leg on the Lux model.

Cybex Cloud Q Plus vs. Cloud G Weight and Specifications

All Cybex infant car seats can be used from 4 to 35 pounds. Typically, though, your baby will outgrow the car seat by height around age 1. The Cloud Q Plus and Cloud G are outgrown when baby reaches 30” while the Cloud G Lux gives two extra inches and is outgrown once baby is 32” tall.

The Cloud Q Plus is 2 pounds heavier than the Cloud G and Cloud G Lux, which is significant and something to consider.
