Baby Jogger City Sights vs. City Select 2 Stroller Comparison
Baby Jogger now offers two strollers with a similar look and price, but they offer different functionality: one can grow with your family into a double stroller, and the other features a more compact fold than other full-sized strollers on the market.
The City Select 2 is Baby Jogger’s best selling convertible, all terrain stroller with a dozen configurations, eco friendly fashions, and extensive car seat compatibility.
The City Sights is a new single stroller with all terrain functionality that folds more compactly than any other modular stroller on the market and comes with more inclusions with purchase.
Let’s compare the City Sights and City Select 2.

The City Sights and the City Select 2 are roughly the same cost, but it will depend what color you choose and if you are purchasing the single or double of the City Select 2!
CITY SIGHTS VS. CITY SELECT 2 WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS
Because of its smaller frame, the City Sights weighs two pounds less than the City Select 2, though the toddler seats on both models support up to 45 pounds.
Once folded, the City Sights is the smallest full sized modular stroller available, measuring over 20% smaller than the City Select 2.
The City Select 2 is larger and heavier because it can convert to accommodate two seated children.
CITY SIGHTS VS. CITY SELECT 2 FEATURES
While both strollers have reversible, reclining seats with adjustable calf support and a large sun canopy, the City Sights has the option to extend the canopy farther. All City Sights include a bumper bar whereas only certain City Select 2 colors include a bumper bar.
For a newborn, the City Sights and City Select are both car seat compatible with purchase of adapters, and offer bassinet compatibility.
Unique to the City Sights, an overnight-approved bassinet gives parents versatility and peace of mind on long outings or trips.
CITY SIGHTS VS. CITY SELECT 2 CONFIGURATIONS
The City Select 2 offers 24 different configurations from single to double or even with three on board using toddler seats, infant car seats, a bassinet, or glider board.
The City Sights can only seat one child with the option of another child standing behind on the glider board.
HOW TO FOLD CITY SIGHTS VS. CITY SELECT 2
The City Select 2 folds in one step when you pull up on levers on both sides of the frame. The stroller collapses and locks automatically.
To open the stroller, undo the lock on the side of the frame and lift it back into place.
The City Sights is even easier - it folds with one hand so your other hand is free to hold your baby. Just lift the recline lever to fold the stroller seat over, then press the fold button in the middle of the stroller frame to collapse.
To open the stroller, lift up on the handle and raise the seat back into place.
