2018 UPPAbaby Vista Review

See the video below for a look at the 2018 UPPAbaby Vista.

2018 UPPAbaby Vista Colors

The 2018 UPPAbaby Vista is available in three new melange colors. Additionally, one color released in 2015, Denny Red, is making a comeback.

All of the 2018 Vistas now feature a real leather handlebar and bumper bar; all but three 2017 models had foam details. With the exception of the Jake Black stroller with a black frame, all 2018 stroller frames are silver in color.

The frame also features a new powder coating that makes it more resistant to scratches.

If you choose a 2017 Vista with foam details, know that you can also purchase the leather handlebar and bumper bar cover separately in your choice of either saddle brown or black.

2018 UPPAbaby Vista Gregory vs. 2018 UPPAbaby Vista Henry

The 2018 stroller comes in two blue marl colors. So what's the difference between the UPPAbaby Vista in Gregory and the UPPAbaby Vista in Henry?

Gregory is a denim-like blue with a grayish hue, while Henry is a brighter light blue with texturized fabric. Both colors match well with the UPPAbaby Mesa infant car seat in Henry, which is not available in Gregory.

The differences are easier to spot side-by-side. In this photo, Henry is on the left and Gregory is on the right.

2018 UPPAbaby Vista Price

Update from January 2023: The Vista V2 is priced at $999.99 for all colors.

As a single stroller, the 2018 UPPAbaby Vista is $899.99, with the Jake Black version selling for $929.99 because of its carbon black frame.

The 2017 models with foam details were less expensive, with a price point of $839.99 for the silver frame and $879.99 for the black frame. The 2017 models with leather details were also $899.99.

As a double stroller, the 2018 UPPAbaby Vista is $1,089.98, or $1,129.98 for Jake Black. To create the double stroller, the upper and/or lower adapters ($19.99 each) are required for some configurations. For more information, read What Adapters Do I Need for the UPPAbaby Vista?

2018 UPPAbaby Vista Bassinet

The length of the 2018 UPPAbaby Vista bassinet has been extended by about 2.5 inches to accommodate taller babies. The difference isn't noticeable, but when you have a growing baby, every inch counts!

Otherwise, there are no 2018 changes to the bassinet, which is safe for overnight sleeping and includes ventilation, a cozy mattress with washable cover, and UPF 50+ sunshade that extends from the canopy.

2018 UPPAbaby Vista Wheels

The tread pattern on the front wheels of the 2018 Vista was updated to match that of the back wheels, but the change creates no functional changes.

2018 UPPAbaby Mesa infant car seat

No changes have been made to the 2018 UPPAbaby Mesa infant car seat other than two new colors.

The 2018 Mesa comes in two new colors:

  • Jordan Charcoal Melange (chemical-free with fire-resistant wool)
  • Denny Red

These 2017 Mesa colors will be continued for 2018:

  • Henry Blue Marl (chemical-free with fire-resistant wool)
  • Jake Black
  • Taylor Indigo

The Pascal Gray Mesa will not be offered in 2018.

The 2018 Denny Red, Jake Black and Taylor Indigo Mesas are $299.99. Because of their fire-resistant materials, the Jordan Charcoal Melange and Henry Blue Marl colors are priced at $349.99.

2018 UPPAbaby Vista with 2017 UPPAbaby Mesa and accessories

There are no functional changes to the 2018 Vista, so the stroller is compatible with all UPPAbaby products from the 2015 and later, including the Mesa car seat.
