If you're deciding between the 2017 UPPAbaby Mesa infant car seat and the 2018 UPPAbaby Mesa infant car seat, you may not have to!

Functionally, the UPPAbaby Mesa has not changed between 2017 and 2018.

Because UPPAbaby has continued the Henry Blue Marl, Taylor Indigo Blue and Jake Black colors, the 2017 and 2018 car seats are identical (same SKU number and all).

The only changes for 2018 are two new colors of the Mesa, Denny Red and Jordan Charcoal Melange. Additionally, the Pascal Gray color available in 2017 has been discontinued.

What is the 2018 UPPAbaby Mesa release date?

The 2018 UPPAbaby Mesa is now available at Strolleria and will ship without delay.

Will a 2018 UPPAbaby Mesa fit on a 2015 or 2017 UPPAbaby Vista or Cruz?

The functionality of the UPPAbaby Vista, Cruz and Mesa have not changed since the 2015 model. That means that a new car seat will fit on an older stroller, and an older car seat will fit on a new stroller.

If you own a Vista from the years 2014-earlier, you need adapters to attach a newer Mesa car seat to your stroller. UPPAbaby provides these adapters for free on its website.

No adapters are needed for using a Mesa with the Vista or Cruz for the models 2015 and later.

What is the price of the 2018 UPPAbaby Mesa?

As in 2017, the price for the 2018 UPPAbaby Mesa is $299.99 for the standard colors: Jake Black, Taylor Indigo Blue and Denny Red.

The Henry Blue Marl and Jordan Charcoal Melange colors cost $349.99 because they're made with a merino wool that is naturally fire-resistant. Additionally, merino wool has moisture-wicking properties that help keep babies cool on warm days and warm on cool days.

The other Mesa colors, also free of brominated and chlorinated chemicals, are made of polyester fabric.

The 2018 UPPAbaby Mesa comes in two new colors, Denny Red and Jordan Charcoal Melange (also available for the 2018 Vista and Cruz strollers).
