We spent way too long researching travel systems before landing on the Romer Juni/Tura. I'm talking hours scrolling through BabyGearLab, reading every long-form review I could find. In basically every comparison, it ranked just behind the Nuna systems, and then there was a pretty big drop-off after those two. When I saw the price difference between them, the Romer just made sense.
Honestly though, what sealed the deal was seeing it in person. The stroller feels incredibly solid - like, you can tell it's built to last. The frame doesn't flex or rattle like some of the cheaper options we tested, and the wheels roll smooth over pretty much any surface. The fabrics are plush without feeling over-the-top, and the whole thing just has that premium feel, you know?
One thing that threw me off was not seeing Romer pop up in those "best travel systems of 202X" listicles everyone shares. Turns out they've been huge in Europe for years, especially for car seats and strollers. They're considered a go-to brand over there and are just now making a real push in the US market. Makes sense why they're not everywhere here yet.
At the end of the day, safety and durability were our top priorities, and after going down the research rabbit hole, the Romer Tura checked all our boxes. Obviously every parent has to figure out what works for them, but we're really happy with this choice.
