We spent way too long researching travel systems before landing on the Romer Juni/Tura. I'm talking hours scrolling through BabyGearLab, reading every long-form review I could find. In basically every comparison, it ranked just behind the Nuna Pipa, and then there was a pretty big drop-off after those two. When I saw the price difference between them, the Romer just made sense.
Honestly though, what sealed the deal was seeing it in person. It's really sleek without being flashy, and the build quality is impressive - everything feels solid and well thought out. Just has that premium feel, you know?
One thing that threw me off was not seeing Romer pop up in those "best travel systems of 202X" listicles everyone shares. Turns out they've been huge in Europe for years, especially for car seats. They're considered the go-to brand over there and are just now making a real push in the US market. Made me feel better about not seeing them on everyone’s lists.
At the end of the day, safety was our number one thing, and after going down the research rabbit hole, the Romer Juni checked all our boxes. Obviously every parent has to figure out what works for them, but we're really happy with this choice.
