Like the Nuna PIPA, which is rated "best" in crash protection by Consumer Reports, the Bugaboo Turtle One base features an additional security feature not seen on most car seats: a steel load leg that attaches to the floor of your car, providing stability in the event of a crash.

The Bugaboo Turtle One keeps your baby comfortable in any climate, thanks to a magnetic shade that provides ventilated sun coverage and a large, mesh peek-a-boo window. The included infant insert is made of merino wool, a breathable fiber that naturally keeps baby cool in warm temperatures and warm in cool temperatures.
