Nuna vs. UPPAbaby Comparison | Which Brand is Right for Me?

Chances are you have come across the brands Nuna and UPPAbaby when researching baby gear. Nuna and UPPAbaby are two of our most popular brands, and for good reason! Countless parents ask us questions each and everyday about these two brands so let's take a closer look at UPPAbaby and Nuna!

UPPAbaby first started "out of necessity and opportunity" in 2006 when a husband and wife dreamed of a better baby gear brand. The Monahans' daughter gets credit for the name by saying "uppa, uppa" whenever she wanted to be picked up. It started with a stroller, and has since grown organically from 5 employees in 2006 to over 175 employees today selling products from strollers to car seats to high chairs to travel cribs!

Nuna, a global brand with roots in Amsterdam began in 2007, and still to this day is inspired by Dutch design. From the beginning Nuna has aimed to design timeless, innovative baby gear that’s also simple and stylish. Nuna’s first product was the ZAAZ high chair and since 2007 has grown and developed a wide range of baby gear products including car seats, strollers, baby carriers, and more!

Since their beginnings in 2006 and 2007, UPPAbaby and Nuna have grown tremendously and are leaders in innovation and design. They both have more than a dozen products each, and their product lines are continuing to grow every year.

But what is each brand primarily known for and what is right for me?

Although UPPAbaby has a robust line of products, their claim to fame are their strollers, specifically their single to double convertible stroller called the Vista. Nuna, on the other hand, is primarily associated with car seats - both infant and convertible - though their strollers are also very popular.
