Yes, and it’s the safest way for your baby to travel! The UPPAbaby Mesa Series is FAA approved and safe to use in an airplane without the base. The base cannot be used on an airplane. You will use the airplane lap belt to install the seat by simply routing it through the belt path across the seat.
Before your trip, it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with how to properly install your Mesa seat in a vehicle using the seatbelt only.
