Does the UPPAbaby Vista bassinet collapse?

The UPPAbaby Vista bassinet can collapse a bit when not in use, but does not fold or get super small. To collapse it, take out the mattress, and pull the two silver rods towards the center. Then push it down and it will collapse a bit.
