Thule Urban Glide 2 and Thule Urban Glide 2 Double with Uppababy Mesa Car Seat

The Thule Urban Glide 2 and Urban Glide 2 Double jogging strollers are both compatible with the UPPAbaby Mesa infant car seat, with the purchase of a car seat adapter.

Besides the UPPAbaby double stroller, the Thule Urban Glide 2 Double stroller is one of the only double strollers compatible with the UPPAbaby Mesa. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Double jogging stroller is not, however, compatible for newborn twins, and can only accommodate for one car seat and toddler.

The Urban Glide was updated in 2018 with an added hand brake that provides deceleration, automatic lock for folding, an extendable sunshade with UPF 50+ protection and extra ventilation, and reflective rims for improved visibility.

How to use the UPPAbaby Mesa with the Thule Urban Glide 2 Stroller

Connect the UPPAbaby Mesa infant car seat to your Thule Urban Glide 2 jogging stroller with the Thule Universal Car Seat Adapter. You can keep the adapter attached before collapsing the stroller, first fold the adapter and then buckle the seat strap in place.

To use the Thule Universal Adapter on the Urban Glide 2 single stroller, easily clip the adapter to both sides of the frame. You will find two little black studs on either side of the frame to indicate where to attach the adapter. Line up the holes on each adapter clamp to the studs, and fasten the clamps by pushing down the blue tabs.

Verify that the adapter is securely attached to the frame by giving it a sharp pull away from the stroller.

You can only install the Thule Universal Adapter on the left side (when facing the stroller) of the Thule Urban Glide 2 double stroller. To connect the adapter, open the velcro and zipper on the center seat divider to expose the integrated car seat adapter ridge, and align one adapter clamp over this black ridge centered between the seats. The other clamp will line up with the little black stud on the left side of the frame, then close both clamps and secure the blue tabs.

After securing the adapter onto your stroller, the UPPAbaby Mesa can be comfortably placed into the adapter—face the car seat toward the handlebar, then buckle the seat strap over the car seat and pull the strap tight. Check that your car seat is securely attached by gently lifting up on the car seat handle, and you're all set to go!
