The Nuna PIPA Series Insert can be used as necessary to provide a snug fit for small babies in the Nuna PIPA, PIPA RX, PIPA Lite, PIPA Lite R and PIPA Lite LX.

The low birth weight pillow can be used in the infant insert for even smaller babies, but should be removed once a snug fit can be achieved without it, at approximately 11 pounds.

*Not compatible with Nuna PIPA Lite RX models.

Slow processing

Although this product has come in handy for the occasional carseat blowout, the arrival time of the insert was well below satisfactory. I was informed this insert would take 5-7 days to arrive (including processing and shipping). Instead, it took 4 weeks. I recommend purchasing an extra insert for when nature calls. But order in a timely manner.

Perfect Fit

I purchased this insert in addition to the insert that came with our Nuna Pipa RX car seat. This was a more snug and better fit for our son when we brought him home from the hospital. It was easy to install and clean when we experienced our first blowout! Just pulled it out, put it in our washing machine and let it air dry. It could have been placed in the dryer but didn’t want any shrinkage or potential damage to the materials. Worked like a charm!
