I’m deeply disappointed with the SNOO Smart Sleeper Bassinet, which frequently shuts off unexpectedly during use, disrupting my infant’s sleep and posing potential safety concerns. Within minutes of starting (1–40 minutes), the SNOO stops rocking, enters standby mode, and sometimes shows a false "clips not engaged" message despite secure clips. This happens near-nightly, with some users reporting 12 shutoffs in 17 nights. Restarting helps temporarily, but the issue recurs, causing sleep deprivation, stress, and, in my case, worsening postpartum recovery.
Happiest Baby’s customer service provided only basic troubleshooting (e.g., cleaning clips, unplugging), which didn’t fix the problem. They acknowledge this as a “known” issue but offer replacements only for in-warranty units, leaving out-of-warranty users like me without solutions. Reddit’s r/SnooLife shows dozens of identical complaints, pointing to faulty clip sensor wiring or design flaws, with some resorting to unsafe workarounds or third-party repair kits (SnoozyMama). For a $1,695 FDA-approved product marketed for reliability, this is unacceptable. The SNOO’s widespread malfunctions and Happiest Baby’s inadequate response demand an FDA investigation into its safety and quality. Avoid this product until these issues are addressed.

Put ALL features behind a paywall claiming they need it to maintain their app but then their app doesn't connect to the snoo 9 out of 10 times. So your stuck there trying to adjust the soothing speed while your baby is barely awake and by the time it connects, if ever, your baby is wide awake yelling. Pathetic product when there are so many others like it. Just a money hungry company that puts everything behind a subscription

The idea is great. The product works pretty good. One thing I would add is a weight sensor so it knows if the baby is in the bassinet or not. It's a pain to have to reach for your phone, or hit the button while your holding a baby. But my biggest complaint is, a 1700 dollar bassinet. Should ABSOLUTELY NOT have a subscription based model. The greed here is disgusting. This company will soon fade as others will copy and do it for less. They could have kept long term customers without financially gouging them to death. Definitely wouldn't recommend on the basis of the continuous financial obligation alone.

I purchased the item with no obligation to pay any subscription to receive all of the benefits of owning the snoo.
i purchased new from one of their retailers.
They added a subscription fee months later and I am unable to use the snoo for what I purchased it for. This is now a worthless paperweight. I would rather throw it in the garbage than give to someone required to pay a subscription to a lying company.
I have filed with the BBB and Federal Trade commission for false business practices. I was scammed after paying full price for this item.
