For all-terrain strolling, both the Bumbleride Era and Nuna MIXX Next have large, durable tires equipped for a smooth ride.
Air-filled tires on the Era provide premium suspension that is more common to jogging strollers. The Era comes with an air pump, which stows away in a zippered pocket in the basket.
You won’t have to pump up the tires on the MIXX Next, which has foam-filled rubber tires and suspension integrated into both the wheels and rear axle.
Both models are easy to maneuver over varied terrain, and have front swivel wheels which can lock for rolling through sand, gravel or bumpy surfaces.

Bumbleride strollers are some of the most eco-friendly on the planet. The Bumbleride Era uses sustainable materials like recycled ocean plastics in the frame and water bottles in the fabrics. The Era uses 100% recycled PET and OEKO-TEX certified fabrics, while the anti-microbial handlebar is made of cork, a natural and sustainable material. The Era is also water-repellant, without the use of PFA chemicals.
Nuna designed the MIXX Next with varied climates in mind, including a removable seat liner made of a breathable bamboo polyester blend, with a mesh panel behind for warmer months. A soft leatherette handlebar is comfortable to push and easy to wipe clean.

How to Fold Bumbleride Era vs. Nuna MIXX Next
Both the Bumbleride Era and Nuna MIXX Next fold easily and stand when folded for easier lifting and storage.
The Era folds in two steps: First, fold the stroller seat in half using grey tabs at either side of the canopy, then fold the frame forward while pressing grey tabs near the handlebar. It stands while folded, and includes a carry handle for easy lifting.
To fold the MIXX Next, lift the silver tab at the upper seat back to fold the seat forward, then fold the frame forward by lifting up on the black tabs near the handlebar. The MIXX Next can stand upright when folded and trolley like a suitcase. It also folds with the car seat adapter attached.

Both the Bumbleride Era and Nuna MIXX Next can become a travel system by adding a car seat sold separately, but the Era has a wider range of options.
Although Bumbleride does not make an infant car seat of their own, Bumbleride offers three different types of adapters for the Era stroller, which make this model compatible with several popular car seat brands.
Nuna strollers are only compatible with their own line of car seats, and the MIXX Next includes an adapter needed to attach a Nuna PIPA series car seat. Nuna's unique style of adapter is shaped like a ring, allowing you to attach and remove the car seat using only one hand.
