UPPAbaby boxes the Cruz V3 in a variety of pre-set color combinations. The frame comes in either aluminum or black, and the color combinations get updated yearly. 

The Bugaboo Dragonfly also comes in a variety of pre-set neutral color combinations. The frame is offered in either Black or Graphite. 

Are the Bugaboo Dragonfly or UPPAbaby Cruz V3 stroller fabrics washable?

Bugaboo Dragonfly: All fabrics are machine washable at 86°F. The faux leather grips can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Always consult the washing label for the exact instructions.

UPPAbaby Cruz V3: All fabrics are washable. Spot clean or hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Dry flat and away from direct sunlight before re-use or storage. DO NOT bleach, iron, dry in dryer, or dry clean.

The Bugaboo Dragonfly is sold with the bassinet in a bundle or without. The stroller seat can be used from 6 months to 50 pounds. The bassinet can be used from birth to 6 months or until baby can sit up unsupported. While the Bugaboo Dragonfly is infant car seat compatible, the bassinet is the best choice for longer periods of stroller use. Whether purchasing with the bassinet or without, the Bugaboo Dragonfly always comes boxed with a set of infant car seat adapters. The infant car seat adapters allow for a variety of Dragonfly/car seat combinations. The best looking, most cohesive match is the Bugaboo Turtle Air Shield made by Nuna.

The UPPAbaby Cruz V3 is only sold with its toddler seat that can be used from birth to 50 pounds. WIth the updated design, the Cruz V3 is now newborn compatible with a fully lie-flat seat - no need for a bassinet. If you want a traditional bassinet, the UPPAbaby Bassinet makes for easy transitions on and off the stroller and provides a cozy environment for use from day one! For seamless in-and-out of the car scenarios, the Cruz V3 offers direct compatibility with UPPAbaby infant car seats, including the Mesa and Aria models.

What infant car seats are compatible with the UPPAbaby Cruz V3?

The most organic pair to the UPPAbaby Cruz V3 is UPPAbaby's Mesa or Aria Series infant car seats. The current models - the Mesa V3 and Aria V2 - are directly compatible with the Cruz V3 stroller frame without the need for infant car seat adapters. View all current car seat compatibility here.

Can the Bugaboo Dragonfly or UPPAbaby Cruz V3 be converted to a double stroller?

The Bugaboo Dragonfly and UPPAbaby Cruz V3 are strictly single strollers and do not have the capability of holding two stroller seats. However, both Bugaboo and UPPAbaby offer compatible ride-on-boards that make it quick, easy, and convenient for older siblings to hitch a ride! Both ride-on-boards directly connect to the frame of each stroller and can be pushed upwards and stored away when not in use.

The Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board comes with a removable bike seat attachment, allowing an option to sit or stand. The Cruz V3 Piggyback offers generous foot-space but only allows for a standing child. 

Is the Bugaboo Dragonfly or UPPAbaby Cruz V3 easier to fold?

The Bugaboo Dragonfly is a bit easier to fold, it can be folded with one hand and with the seat positioned either parent or world facing, it can also be folded with the bassinet attached. While the UPPAbaby Cruz V3 can be folded in one motion, the seat does have to be world facing and the stroller can not be folded with the bassinet attached. The Cruz V3 requires two hands for folding.

Folding the Bugaboo Dragonfly:

Step 1: Activate the brake by stepping on the brake pedal.

Step 2: Bring the handlebar down using the large button until the handlebar reaches the FOLD stripe.

Step 3: Press the large button while sliding the FOLD button to whichever side you prefer.

Step 4: Lift the handlebar upwards and use a bit of momentum to bring the front of the stroller towards you. The seat should fold down automatically at this point.

Folding the UPPAbaby Cruz V3:

Step 1: Activate the brake by stepping on the brake pedal (the red one)

Step 2: Make sure the seat is facing forward (or has been removed from the frame if not) 

Step 3: Lower the handlebar to its shortest setting

Step 4: Lift up on the two triggers at the right and left hand sides of the handlebar and lower it toward your feet.

For an ultra-compact fold, fold the footrest all the way back prior to folding.

The Cruz V3 automatically locks when folded and stands upright, resting on the two rear wheels and two small rubber bumpers in the middle of the handlebar.

Hinge the lock inwards and lift the handlebar up to open the stroller.

Bugaboo and UPPAbaby both offer a buffet of accessories! If you opt for an UPPAbaby or Bugaboo bassinet, one of the best ways to expand on the function of the Dragonfly or Cruz V3 is to purchase a Bugaboo or UPPAbaby Bassinet Stand. Not only do these bassinets pair beautifully with their corresponding strollers but they can also be used as a primary overnight sleep system when paired with their corresponding bassinet stands! While both of these stands give your gear multiple uses they are very different. 

The Bugaboo Bassinet Stand is fully collapsible and can be folded to a size that is perfect for travel. When baby outgrows the Bugaboo bassinet, the stand can also be paired with the Dragonfly stroller seat and used as a travel highchair. 

The UPPAbaby Bassinet Stand is a bit larger but a beautiful piece of furniture. Once baby outgrows the UPPAbaby bassinet, the stand can be converted to a hamper by purchasing the UPPAbaby Hamper Inserts.
