When Should I Buy My Baby Gear?

 

That’s really up to you! Many soon-to-be parents do research in the first and second trimester, and purchase their baby gear in the third trimester. Others like to be prepared early, and have everything by the time the third trimester starts. There is no wrong answer!

The only thing that must be bought before your baby arrives is a car seat that can safely transport baby home from the hospital. We suggest purchasing an infant car seat at least 5 weeks before your due date to give you ample time to practice installing and adjusting it prior to baby’s arrival.
