When Should I Buy Baby Stuff for Twins?
That’s really up to you! However, twins often come early, so we suggest doing your research in the first trimester and purchasing your baby gear in the second trimester. That gives you plenty of time to learn how to use everything and to be prepared in the event the babies come early.
The only thing that must be bought before your twins arrive are the car seats - the babies cannot come home from the hospital without car seats. With twins, we suggest purchasing infant car seats at least 10 weeks before your due date to give you ample time to practice installing and adjusting them prior to their arrival.
