Ride Of The Week: Veer Cruiser All-Terrain Wagon!
It’s Ride of the Week time! This week we will explore the Veer Cruiser All-Terrain Wagon and its features in greater detail!
Â
The Veer Cruiser combines the functionality of a premium stroller with the classic fun of a wagon: Whether you push it ahead or pull it behind you, the Veer is a versatile companion for all your family adventures. Comes in both a Cruiser 2-seater or Crusier XL 4-seater.
The Cruiser has rugged tires, front-wheel suspension, holds up to 110 pounds in the regular and 220 in the XL, stands when folded for easy storage, and weighs the same as a double stroller! It’s the perfect answer for families that want a more rugged, fun ride that can tackle any terrain. Big kids love it because they can get in and out easily, see everything, and have a space for toys, drinks, and snacks! Happy kids equal happy parents :)
The Cruiser and Cruiser XL allow you to push, pull, or pull alongside and feature a lockable handle for easy pushing. All seats have a 3-point safety harness, and accessories are available to accommodate infant car seats plus a padded seat with a 5-point harness for younger toddlers. Veer has truly thought of everything with their Cruiser wagons!
Let’s take a look at its many features starting from the top down:
- Adjustable height handle that can be locked for pushing or unlocked for pulling
- Included two cup holders
- 2 or 4-contoured, vented passenger seats with 3-point safety harnesses
- Built-in foot-well for comfort, collapsible for extra compact folding
- Interior mesh storage pockets for drinks, snacks, or toys
- Included and removable snack and drink tray
- Easy to engage one-touch break
- Low friction bearings and large, knobby rear tires with fenders for all-terrain comfort
- Quick-release wheels for extra small storage
Â
The Veer Cruiser and Cruiser XL has some unique, lesser known features and tricks too!
- The Cruiser comes with two cup holders that can be moved around on the wagon depending where you want them - there are knobs that will hold the cup holders on the handle, front of the wagon and rear of the wagon. You can also purchase more and have up to 6 on the wagon at a time!
- Veer offers so many different accessories to personalize your wagon! Color side walls can be purchased to replace the gray that comes standard, canopies, visors for the canopy, padded toddler seats, infant car seat adapters, weather covers, storage basket, and more!
- The Cruiser can stand when folded and can trolly behind you!
- The wagon does steer differently than strollers or other push wagons. The swivel wheels are closer to the handle and the bigger wheels are fixed. So when you are pushing the wagon, you will steer from the wheels nearest you, opposite of how you would steer a traditional stroller. It can take some getting used to, but once you have practiced it becomes second nature.
- The Veer is made for the dirt - the whole wagon can be hosed off! It couldn’t be easier to clean after an adventure!
- When using an infant car seat adapter, you can choose to put the car seat closest to you or farther away from you! You can put the car seat either direction as well.
- There is both a bassinet option and nap system for babies!
- Veer now has a switchback seat that can be attached to the wagon that also works on their strollers, on a bike, and as a booster chair. This allows a more traditional stroller seat for a baby or toddler.
- The Cruiser comes with cards to hand out to all the people that stop to admire your wagon and ask you questions about it!
- There is a proper way to put on the canopies so they don't come off! The canopy should align with the second peg on the rail of the wagon. Then it should make an audible click when it clicks over the peg:Â
