The Aria installs with the seat belt using the European routing method. The European routing method uses the seat belt through the belt guides of the car seat, and the shoulder belt routes around the back of the shell of the car seat. The European routing method acts how a load leg does on the base. It reduces head and neck forces, and eliminates downward motion of the car seat during a crash.
