Bugaboo Fox5 vs. Bugaboo Fox3 Material and Fabrics

    Chassis

The Bugaboo Fox5 frame has been slightly redesigned to give the stroller a more modern look and an even better push! Bugaboo has updated where the central point of gravity is on the stroller, which has contributed to an overall easier and lighter push. The wheel board attachment points have been moved slight on the stroller as well, allowing for more space to walk. The frame is now only offered in two colors - black and graphite - and there are less white buttons on the frame for a more streamlined, premium look. The word “Bugaboo” is also now embossed on the front of the frame.

The Bugaboo Fox5 has more elevated and premium detailing than the Bugaboo Fox3, including brushed fabrics, wheel spokes, and a beautifully embossed bumper bar. Bugaboo also updated the handlebar to make it a simpler one-hand adjustment.

    Seat

In terms of seat design, the Fox5 now has an extendable footrest and extendable sun canopy so the stroller seat can grow with your child. The Fox5 footrest extends an additional two inches for more leg space for your child! The canopy can be raised or lowered about two inches - a great feature to give your child more headroom. The seat also now features a one-handed, easy to use recline.

    Storage Basket

The underseat storage basket now holds even more items than the Fox3 due to extendable flaps. It’s easy to access from both front and back

Bugaboo Fox5 vs. Bugaboo Fox3 Colors

We see most of the same color options with the Bugaboo Fox5 as the Bugaboo Fox3. However, the Fox5 introduces a brand new color never seen before: Astro Purple. The Fox5 seat is also now offered in Forest Green, whereas before the Forest Green was only offered as a canopy color. The chassis comes in either black or graphite, as the aluminum option has been discontinued.

Bugaboo offers two versions of the Fox5: a simplified one-box stroller, as well as a build-your-own option consisting of two boxes: a base (which includes the chassis and seat/bassinet fabrics) and a canopy.

Strolleria offers these simplified one-box strollers for the Fox5 here.

The canopy can be purchased separately to change up the look of your Fox5 and comes in fun bright color options here.

The Bugaboo Fox3 came in the same color options as the Fox5 plus a special edition color called Refined Black Mineral Collection. Most of the Fox3 strollers are sold out, but anything that is remaining is currently on sale for 25% off!

All parts—such as canopies, accessories and car seat adapters—are interchangeable between the Fox5 and Fox3.
