The UPPAbaby Vista V2 and Veer Switchback Switch&Roll are just about the same weight with the Veer weighing 0.6 pounds more than the Vista V2 when in single mode. However, in double mode, the Vista V2 comes in 2.5 pounds lighter. Both strollers are made out of aluminum, which is both lightweight and durable.

The Vista V2 is slightly more compact than the Veer, however they are almost identical sizes when folded.

UPPAbaby Vista V2 vs. Veer Switchback Switch&Roll Weight Limit

Both the Vista V2 and the Switchback Switch&Roll main top seats hold 50 pounds. They are practically the same size as well.

However, the second bottom seat, known as the RumbleSeat on the Vista V2, is a smaller copy of the Toddler Seat (top seat) and has no adjustable calf support. It has a 35 pound weight limit, which is a drawback for parents who want their baby to sit in the upper position but have a toddler who's too big for the lower position.

The Veer Switchback Switch&Roll uses the same exact Switchback seat on the lower position, however, the weight limit changes to 40 pounds when used on the bottom position. This is due to the design of the stroller.

Both UPPAbaby and Veer suggest putting the heavier child on top as the stroller is easier to push and maneuver this way.

UPPAbaby Vista V2 vs. Veer Switchback Switch&Roll Configurations

The Vista V2 and Switch&Roll offer similar configurations for siblings. On both strollers, both seats are reversible, allowing the child to face you or face forward. Both strollers also work with compatible car seats and bassinets. For twins, both strollers take two infant car seats, however, only the Vista V2 holds two bassinets.

The Veer Switch&Roll allows for one configuration not possible with the Vista V2: the bassinet on the upper position with second seat on the lower position facing in. With the Vista V2, the bassinet can't fit on the upper position when the stroller is a double, so the bassinet can only be used on the lower position.

The Vista V2 requires the purchase of the upper and/or lower adapters to complete double configurations involving a car seat or bassinet.

With the Switch&Roll, you will need the Veer Double Seat Adapter Kit to make your Veer stroller into a double. One set of adapters attaches a second Switchback seat, infant car seat or bassinet to the lower position, while the other set raises the top seat higher to create more space for double configurations.

Conclusion

Both the UPPAbaby Vista V2 and Veer Switchback Switch&Roll are high-quality, versatile strollers that will grow with your family. They are very similar looking, but the Veer is more rugged than the UPPAbaby, and may be a great option for outdoor enthusiasts. 

Both strollers offer top-notch quality in materials, and are priced similarly, though the Vista V2 includes a bassinet that is overnight sleep approved and can be used from birth. They both fold the same way - easily in one-step - and stand when folded.

The biggest downside of the the Vista V2? The 35-pound weight limit on the lower smaller sized RumbleSeat means the older child must ride on top (if over 35 pounds), which isn't preferable for many families. The Veer's second seat is the same exact seat as the top seat, although it is only approved for 40 pounds when used on the bottom. 

However, no matter what stroller you choose, you're investing in a beautiful, well-made stroller that will last your family for many, many years!
