Wow - this is a game-changer. We’ve had the Uppababy Vista since my son was born and it was great for the first two years. My son is very tall and recently his head has been at the upper limit of the Vista canopy and I grew tired of how large/heavy it was. After doing a ton of research we decided to stick with Uppababy and invest in the Minu. It’s AMAZING. So light, folds up so compact — I wish I’d bought it sooner! My son has significantly more headroom and I have trunk space back in my mid-size SUV. It’s absolutely worth the money for the quality. Highly recommend the snack tray and cup holder, too.
UPPAbaby MINU Stroller
Overall, this stroller is good for the small factor and the brand is reliable and well-loved. However, I'm very grateful I got to test this stroller with my 1-year-old nephew while the family was visiting before adding it to my registry for my own baby. The two deal breakers for me were the lack of locking front wheels and the seat. The baby kept leaning forward to sit up straighter because the seat all the way up is still at a pretty decent recline and it made him honestly pretty grumpy after a while, probably because that's a tough core workout for the little buddy! We had this stroller on grass, uneven pavement (winter is tough on roads and sidewalks in the northeast) gravel driveways (long ones!), and even a small path through the woods filled with pine needles, roots, etc. It honestly performed REALLY well for a semi-cheap travel stroller. However, the lack of locking front wheels made these harder to deal with, but I am pleasantly surprised it did so well on them! So for "shopping" style quick trips, you'll probably be super happy with this stroller! But if you do a lot of traveling that could include cobblestones and such, you may want to reconsider. Overall, those were my deal breakers but they may not be for you. I will also say at 5'7" (170cm) it was a little annoying to push but I have shoulder issues anyway. My husband didn't complain, but it has me thinking of adding the G Luxe to my registry instead with the more ergonomic handles. (And getting the G Link2 when we have #2.) I hope this helps someone else out that is spending WAY too much time researching strollers! ha! ;)
Strolleria customer service was amazing and helped me find the stroller with the most amount of room under the canopy. I have a super tall 16 month old and this stroller is perfect and will last us at least another year. Really well made and very easy to open and close.
Lives up to its quality and reviews. Super easy to use and maneuver. Straps are easy to adjust as well.
