Bilia means Newborn in Gurenɛ, a dialect attributed to the originators of this craft. Design Dua. bassinets are called "Nature's Bassinets". Handcrafted with elephant grass & dyes, they take days to weave & feature natural dyeing & patterns that may vary. Fitted with a foam mattress pad, the baskets have leather handles & comply with government safety standards.

The Midnight & Natural with Black Leather Handles color is Design Dua's darkest color. Grass is hand dyed with the darkest mixtures of blue and purple to create the closest color to black. It is not pure black. Pattern size can vary.

When baby is unattended or during overnight sleep, only the provided flat firm pad should be used in the bassinet.

The Moses Pod: the perfect insert to work with bassinets. The lounger is to be used for daytime supervised lounging in your bassinet. For use with newborn to 8 months.

Bilia Bassinet features:
