This will be an impression review since the Nuna Mixx was a gift to our daughter and son in law for their baby due in 3 weeks. We did get a “tour” of the new stroller and I would say it’s the Mercedes of strollers. She chose it for its ease of use, versatility, and ability to grow with their son. They also got the Nuna car seat and it’s so easy to attach. They live on a property with a long gravel drive that requires a stroller that has wheels that can handle rough terrain. This one fits that requirement as well. It’s very smooth and easy to handle. Over all it’s perfect for their needs.
Our stroller is over 5 years old, and it's held up relatively well. We have a lot of Nuna products, still one of our favorite brands, and for the most part, I love this stroller. However... it started squeaking and making noise after 2 years, so it has not held up to the standard we hoped for. It's kind of noisy pushing it around. Every turn there's a creaking noise. I think I get more irritated with it based on how much it this cost, than the noise itself. The locking latch also failed after maybe a year. Best folding mechanism we've tried, but the lock is flimsy piece that springs back and forth to lock it in place. It's nearly an inch away from the lock at this point and useless. I've just gotten used to holding the stroller a certain way when loading and unloading. The accessory cup holder for parents is a waste. Not much fits in it, and if it fits snugly, it'll come off every time you go to pick up your drink. Whenever we fold the stroller down, it POPS off. Not remotely a good design, I'd skip it entirely. I might've even thrown it away at this point. The bottom storage us also so-so. The back support hasn't held up very well and basically lays flat. We don't usually use it, but when we do, I'm reminded why we don't. On a positive note, I've had to break this down several times to fit into tight spaces, and the wheels still come on and off with ease. I dont know why, but this amazes me considering how often we've done it. Overall, love the stroller and this probably looks like a negative review but, were still love it. I think other competitors have done better, but Ill never know. We're 3 kids in and 1 more planned, but I have no intention of spending this much money on a stroller again. After 5+ years it's still a great stroller, but for the price... it should've held up better.
I’ve had this stroller since my son was born in 2019. We used it extensively from age 0 to 2.5. The wheels are great for crooked city sidewalks and snow or rain. Nuna doesn’t have a lot options for replacing your seat or other parts, unlike some other brands. We also ended up using a lot of third party accessories because it’s hard to find their snack tray (which isn’t a full bar). Works great with the Pipa which is an awesome car seat.
We did a lot of research. Watched a lot of videos prior to buying the Nuna Mixx Next. Major things we looked at were comfort for the baby, design elements that makes it easier in the long run, ease of use, installation and how the stroller handles the road and bumps. Nuna Mixx next came out on top in all those categories and once we received and tested, it was even more impressive than what we thought. It's made of high quality materials that are safe for a baby and its very easy to fold and unfold. Highly recommend Nuna Mixx Next to any new parents.
We did a lot of research and this stroller did not disappoint. The wheels are large and glide super easy. Switching the seat is incredibly easy. When folded, it is compact and lightweight. Would 100% recommend!
