This is our third baby jogger stroller and we have easily put 100+ miles on each one. The first being the original city select lux & city mini. This stroller is slightly lighter than the city select lux, but that comes at the cost of features. The rear suspension been removed giving it a stiffer ride, the hand brake has been replaced by a foot brake which feels cheap and the second seat adapters require a plug to cover the fittings when the seat isn't in place and I've pinched my fingers several times. The push bar is also a little bit narrower making it more difficult to turn. Also the chairs no longer fold, making the stroller far less compact. The bumpers are nice additions and the eco trim is aesthetically nice as well. Overall a step backwards from the original city select lux in functionality to make it lighter and more stylish. Nonetheless a great double stroller and a lighter alternative to the competition.
This stroller is perfect for our growing family! I love quick and simple it is going from a single to a double!
Haven’t used with the car seat attachment but it has been great for my 2 year old. My biggest complaint is that it’s really hard to fold up. The levers stick and I (my mom and husband have this issue too so it’s not just me) have to use both hands on one lever. It’s quite tricky. The look of the stroller is nice, fabric looks high quality and overall it’s been worth the investment. The small fold (so much smaller than I thought) is a surprising plus. Even with the seat attached the fold is small. I recommend but there are a few things that would make this better- if there wasn’t such a hassle to return, I would ask for a different one because maybe the fold levers in mine are a malfunction.
