The Silver Cross Jet3 is ready to travel anywhere you go, including onto the airplane - and it just got an upgrade! At 13 pounds, the Silver Cross Jet3 is one of few strollers compact enough to fit in the overhead bin of an airplane, sparing you from the hassle and risk of gate-checking.

While just as compact as before, the Jet3’s clever fold now takes just one simple motion to fold and unfold. The innovative Genius buckle is an easy-to-use magnetic fastening that secures in three simple clicks and opens with a quick and child-proof release. Storage is better than ever with a 20% larger basket that is accessible from both the front and the back of the stroller.

The Jet includes suspension and wide wheels for added stability, a tall handlebar, and premium fabrics. The Jet now also has a roomy and structured seat that holds a child up to 55 pounds—ensuring you can use the stroller as long as you need it.

Use the Silver Cross Jet from birth by reclining the padded seat to a lie-flat position or by attaching a car seat from Nuna, Maxi-Cosi, Cybex or Clek with adapters sold separately.

When folded, the stroller's bumper bar doubles as a luggage handle, allowing you to wheel it through the airport like a rolling suitcase. An included luggage sleeve slides over the folded stroller to add protection.

Made by the British manufacturer established in 1877, the Silver Cross Jet includes premium fabrics and quality features such front-wheel suspension, a large ventilation panel, and multiple recline and footrest positions.

One special edition color, Eclipse, features luxurious two-toned fabrics, polished chrome accents, black leatherette handle and bumper bar covers and piping, and a glossy black frame.

A little finicky but 10/10 would buy again

Cons: the buckle is cumbersome, though this has been updated in new models by Silver Cross to a new magnet buckle. You have to be cautious this is 100% locked in open and while going over big bumps as it can buckle. Pros: the only stroller that was allowed ON (not gate checked) 3 cross-country flights while other families were forced to gate check. Car seat adapters allow you to stroll on board, down the aisle and fold the seat which fit underneath at our feet. Fold is very easy as is open once you get the hang of getting it locked. There likely are larger, more all-terrain “travel” strollers but I haven’t found one that will guarantee travel on board and so 10/10 would buy again.

Love!

We got the stroller to travel from San Francisco to South Africa and this was definitely a game changer. It was so easy to fold up and very easy to push around. I ended up using it as a trolley for the baby stuff and wore my baby but it was great to have immediately once you get off the plane. Not having to gate check saved us a lot of time. The stroller is very sturdy and built well! So happy we chose this stroller.

Awesome travel stroller

Fits in overhead compartment of all planes i have been on even the small regional ones. Most airline people will ask if it's a babyzen yoyo and don't believe that it folds down compact enough. I had to physically take my kid out and show them which is frustrating. Stroller is well built and handled terrain that wasn't smooth.

Review from an Avid Traveler

First off, let me just give you a little background information. I have a 7 month old who is pushing 25 pounds (94th percentile) and is a picky napper. I bought this because my other stroller is way to cumbersome and I had some really tight layovers and wanted to get in and out as fast we could without waiting at the gate for my stroller. Here are the things I absolutely loved about the stroller:

1) It 100% fits with ease above the overhead bin.
2) It can fit in the isle of the airplane as well. Which really saved my back. You can literally stroll your baby to the seat.
3) If choose the black one it creates the perfect dark environment for naps. I actually bought the fancy one and loved it (eclipse version).
4) If you need to take the bumper bar off because the Overhead-bin is full, there is a pocket in the cover to hold it. The video doesn’t mention that.
5) For small babies, if you reach underneath the seat there is a cover that comes up over their feet and legs and snaps on the sides of the stroller creating a very cozy and secure feel. The video doesn’t mention that either.
6) It absolutely feels sturdy and does not collapse as other reviews have said. However, I will say the videos do not do a good job teaching you how to properly open it. You have to push the red button between the bottom back wheels all the way down with your foot until you hear a click and see a green checkmark. Here is the big key that a lot of people I think might miss…you must go on each side of the stroller and lock both sides in order for it not to collapse. You will hear clicks as you do each side.

Overall, the only real con would be the price I guess. My opinion is you can’t put a price on comfort and ease, so if you have the budget I would highly recommend it. I also really loved the design of the eclipse model. It looks super fancy for a travel stroller.

The best travel stroller!

This stroller is soooo good! I love how compact it is and that it converts to a roller bag once you fold it up. That was what made me choose this over other travel strollers. Rolling is > than carrying on your shoulder for me. Also, the strolleria customer service is top notch for sure!
