The Magellan XP Max car seat is backed by years of European engineering, built to exceed all federal standards. Maxi Cosi's patented Air Protect side impact protection is built into the headrest to softly cushion your child's head. Installation is straightforward thanks to a zip-open seating area over the belt path and LATCH system.

Building on the Magellan XP, the XP Max model features an EZ Out spring assist harness system and the ClipQuik chest clip. EZ Out reinforces the harness straps to keep them from getting bunched under your child. The ClipQuik clip is an auto-magnetic chest clip that is easy to open with one hand, but not easy for kids to unbuckle; magnets automatically slide together to lock.
