At just under 6 lbs, the Aria is a breeze to lift in and out of the car. The base tightens with a simple pull until a little window turns green, and the load-leg gives extra stability. It clicks straight onto UPPAbaby strollers, and the big canopy keeps sun off a sleeping baby. Downsides: the seat tops out at 30 lbs / 30″ and the price is steep. If carrying something lighter matters most, though, this one’s hard to beat.

With twins coming soon, we wanted a lightweight car seat. We ordered one starting off and loved how light it was and how good of quality it is, so we’ll be ordering our second.

Very happy with the car seat, super light weight and easy to get in and out of the car with. Only draw back is that the material isn’t very breathable so my son overheats a bit even during the winter months. He should be out growing it by the time summer comes around so that’s fortunate as I would be cautious to use this car seat in the summer heat.

My baby is now 4 months old. We have had her use it since coming home from the hospital. Around 3 months we removed the infant insert. We really like it because it is the lightest car seat we held on the market and we tried a ton at the strolleria storefront. We have the stroller -uppababy cruz v2, this car seat connects to it. We have traveled a lot using this carseat &stroller. We've gone to Canada, Nevada, Hawaii & California by plane & we have gate checked -we did put it in a bag. So if you get this car seat definitely get the stroller with it. We are happy with our purchase.

Our 2mo baby which is on the lower percentiles of height/weight fits WAY better than on the MesaV2. It's super lightweight and amaizing.
