My mom ordered the wrong color stroller and forgot to include the adapter for the carseat. Turns out the color I wanted was being discontinued and listed as unavailable online. Customer service first went to the floor models to see how my chosen carseat (Nuna pipa lite) fabrics would look with the available stroller colors (Agio Z4), gave their honest opinion and also sent photos so I could see too. When I still really preferred the color that was being discontinued they checked with the warehouse the next day to find one left of the color I wanted and got it for me. Also the adapter would have shipped free had my mom added it to the original order, but alone would not, so they created a special order for me to waive the shipping cost on the adapter. Everything came quickly and in good condition.
Best stroller ever! Had the older model when my now 9 year old was little. Phenomenal quality and ease of use. I have the coordinating car seat as well! Love love love! Easy to open and close. Small footprint is a BONUS
I wish the material was a water prof or to come with rain cover I live in Seattle it gets pretty saggy here
We have a 2 year old and are preparing for a new infant.
We had the Citi Mini GT single stroller and love it. We were looking for something that'd be as easy to fold and rugged for walks on unpaved paths.
After some research we got the Citi Mini GT Double. It looked like a simple fold. But once we got it, we realized that it was a BEAST. Heavy, Wide, and generally too bulky. We determined that if the Citi Mini GT Double was too wide, then all of the side-by-side strollers were too wide for us.
We looked at the tandem (front-back) strollers... but they looked really annoying to set up and break down every time you want to put them in the car. A bunch of pieces and adapters. The seats are removable... but where are you going to put them? The whole thing seemed like a pain. Also some of the strollers have major differences between the front and back seats. Either the kid in back can't see anything, or the kid in front can't recline... generally, not idea.
We even tried adding a "buggy-board" (ride along foot board) to the back of our existing stroller... but it really messed up the ride and feel of the stroller. It ruined the one thing we loved about our Citi Mini GT.
After we found the Z4... I feel like we found the perfect stroller for us. We have a peg perego 4/35 car seat - so we don't need any crazy adapters and bars that get in the way. The kid in front and back both have a view. Both could eventually recline. It's light! You can actually remove one of the seats when you want to add the stroller so you're not adding the car seat to the stroller on top of the regular seat... you can remove the regular seat saving some bulk / weight. It looks well built. It really does look like the Uppa Baby. I've confused the UB with the Z4 several times while out in public. Nice materials. When it arrived our toddler was excited to sit in it and ride around. "So comfy, so soft" is what our toddler said.
Pretty easy to fold.
Pretty light (for what it is)
Great with a peg perego car seat.
Lots of room in the bottom, especially compared to the citi mini gt.
The Z4 is EXACTLY the same stroller as the Peg Perego YPSI. I didn't know this until after I purchased the Z4. I think they're basically identical except for the warranty, branding, and slightly different fabrics.
The one downside is cup holders. If you buy the Peg Perego cup holder, it attaches on the OUTSIDE of the stroller, making the stroller wider. We bought a "stroller organizer" that velcros to the handlebars... but that doesn't work with this stroller and a car seat. The car seat fills up the entire handle-bar area and there's no room for a organizer/cupholder. That's something we'll need to solve for.
I went back and forth for a few years about whether to spend the money on a nice set like this, and what brand was truly the best. I skimped with my first child and it created so many postural issues that we spent so much money on accessories trying to fix. Then we bought more of that brand to fit certain needs for sake of compatibility. Now I went online and searched for months with kiddo #2 to find the best system at this price point. This still has more options and configurations than the more commonly trendy name brands at this cost... I couldn’t resist giving it a try. So glad I did I couldn’t be happier. Hoping if we have a third he/she can enjoy sharing this stroller as well as it fits two kids for 15lb longer than the competition. Best kiddo purchase yet.
