The ABC Kids Expo is like the baby gear world's version of Fashion Week: The industry's leading manufacturers gathered in Las Vegas from Oct. 9-11 to show off their new product lines for 2019.
Here's a sneak peak of what's coming next year!
UPPAbaby is releasing two new car seats, the UPPAbaby KNOX convertible car seat and the UPPAbaby ALTA booster car seat, in summer 2019! These car seats are UPPAbaby's first to grow with your child beyond infancy.
Plus, UPPAbaby debuted three new fashions of the UPPAbaby VISTA: Spenser Tartan Plaid, Bryce White Marl and William Chambray Oxford.
The new colors for the VISTA, along with one new color of the MESA infant car seat (Bryce), are expected to debut in February or March 2019.
The 2019 version of Nuna's best-selling stroller, the MIXX, is already available for sale at Strolleria in one color, Bleu (sold as a one-box travel system with the PIPA Lite LX car seat).
In January 2019, Nuna will also release three new colors of the MIXX: Granite, Birch and a new version of Caviar Black with a brown handle.
The Nuna PIPA infant car seat is also going flame retardant free, with three new colors debuting: Birch, Frost and Granite. The PIPA Lite and Lite LX versions also feature new colors, including Birch, Frost and Sage.
Nuna also unveiled its first wearable baby carrier, the Nuna CUDL, and a new version of its playard: the Nuna Cove Aire, featuring a top sleeper that keeps baby close and a zippered bassinet attachment.
Clek has announced that its first infant car seat, the Clek Liing, will debut the ABC Kids Expo. Clek's convertible and booster car seats are made of steel and highly regarded for safety features like automotive crumple-zone technology.
At the ABC Kids Expo, Baby Jogger launched a refreshed design and color palette for its two most popular strollers, the City Select and the City Mini and City Mini GT.
Baby Jogger also debuted a new version of its travel stroller, the City Tour 2, along with a double version, the City Tour 2 Double. Plus, they launched the City GO 2, an updated version of its City GO car seat, as well as the City GO Air, the lightest infant car seat on the market that includes a taxi-safe belt path.
The British manufacturer debuted its second convertible stroller, the Silver Cross Coast. Like its Wave stroller, the Coast is a luxury stroller that changes from a single to a double stroller. But compared with the Wave, the Coast is a more compact, pared-down version at a lower price point.
Silver Cross also displayed a recent addition to the Silver Cross line: the Silver Cross Jet, a super-compact travel stroller that weighs just 12 pounds and can be wheeled like a suitcase.
In spring 2019, Cybex is launching redesigned versions of its platinum strollers, the Priam and the Mios.
Both strollers will include sleek new fabrics, new colors and three choices of frame colors: rose gold, black and chrome. For the Priam, a new all-terrain wheel will replace the previous terrain and trekking wheels.
Mima is adding a sportier version of its Xari stroller in spring 2019. The Mima Xari Sport has the same chic look but adds casual fabrics, a deeper seat and an adjustable footrest for a more comfortable and practical stroller.
